Where you are does not change what a corporation costs. The Ontario Business Registry charges $300.00 for articles filed under the OBCA, Corporations Canada charges $200.00 for a standard online CBCA filing, and our fee is $35.00 with HST included everywhere. Open Corporation for $35 is a department of Gondaliya CPA.

What your address does decide is the jurisdiction, because a business trading in one province sits differently from one selling across the country. The offices below are where our people work. The filing itself is electronic, so nobody has to travel to use them.

The Same Six Steps Everywhere

What Happens After You Send the Form

Start Your Intake Form

The office nearest you handles the file, and the steps do not change from one city to the next. Nothing is filed until you have approved the draft articles in writing.

A Chartered Professional Accountant signs off every file before submission.
Step 1

Jurisdiction settled

Where the business actually trades decides whether it files provincially or federally. A board with no resident Canadian cannot file federally, because section 105(3) of the Canada Business Corporations Act requires a quarter to be resident.

Step 2

Name screened or numbered

A numbered corporation needs no search. A named one needs a NUANS report at $25.00, HST included, and we screen three choices for the distinctive element before paying for one.

Step 3

Share classes drafted

Voting common, non-voting common and a preferred class cost the same to authorise as one class. Adding a class later is articles of amendment, with its own government fee.

Step 4

Directors and office confirmed

Each director consents to act before the appointment holds. Ontario requires a physical address in the province, and ministry notice ON00224E rules out a post office box on its own.

Step 5

Draft approved by you

You see the articles, the classes and the director details before anything is submitted. A Chartered Professional Accountant has already read them at this point.

Step 6

Filed and diarised

An online filing is processed on submission. The Initial Return follows within 60 days in Ontario, and the minute book, share registers and transparency register are opened at the same time.

Service Area FAQs

Do you have an office near me?

The table above gives the street address and postal code for each office: Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Oshawa, Hamilton, Guelph, Ottawa and Windsor. Every one of them answers on 647-212-9559, 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Sunday. Outside those cities the filing runs remotely, and neither the fee nor the CPA review changes because of it.

Do I have to visit an office to incorporate?

No. Both the Ontario Business Registry and Corporations Canada accept an electronic filing, so nothing has to be signed in person. Most files are completed by email within two business days of the intake form. The offices exist for owners who would rather settle the share classes across a table, and for the registered office address service.

Does the price change depending on my city?

No. Our fee is $35.00 with HST included wherever you are, and the government fee is passed on at cost on its own line. A numbered Ontario corporation comes to $335.00 in total and a named one to $360.00. A numbered federal corporation comes to $235.00. Provinces outside Ontario charge their own registry fees, which we confirm in writing before filing.

Which provinces can you incorporate in?

Ontario and federal filings are handled in-house. Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador are filed remotely. Each province has its own registry, its own fee and its own name rules, and Quebec also issues a Quebec enterprise number. We confirm which jurisdiction suits the business before anything is filed.

Can you incorporate for me if I live outside Ontario?

Yes. A federal corporation under the CBCA can be filed from anywhere in Canada, and it protects the corporate name in every province. The constraint is section 105(3) of the Canada Business Corporations Act, which requires at least 25 percent of directors to be resident Canadians. A provincial filing is also available, and it then registers extra-provincially wherever the business carries on trade.

Which office will handle my file?

The office nearest your business address, unless you ask for another. The work is the same in each, because the articles are drafted to one standard and a Chartered Professional Accountant reads every file before submission. You deal with one named person from the intake form through to the certificate.

Can I use one of your offices as my registered office?

Yes, through the address service, which is priced on our pricing page. Every Ontario corporation must hold a registered office at a physical Ontario address, and ministry notice ON00224E confirms a post office box alone is not accepted. That address appears on the public register and stays searchable after it is changed, which is why owners working from home often use a commercial one.

Do you serve cities that are not on this list?

Yes. The list names the cities with their own page, not the limit of where we work. The registry does not care where the incorporator sits, so a business in any Canadian city can be incorporated from here. Send the intake form and we will confirm the jurisdiction and the fee before anything is submitted.

Are the hours the same at every office?

Yes. All thirteen offices work 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Sunday, on 647-212-9559. Evening and weekend calls are normal rather than an exception, because most owners are working during the day. The intake form can be sent at any hour and it is picked up the same working day.

How do I pay?

Payment is by Interac e-Transfer to info@gondaliyacpa.ca only. The security question is Not Applicable, because auto-deposit is enabled on the account. Our fee carries HST and the government fee is shown separately at cost. A 30-day money-back guarantee and a 60-day fee-matching policy apply to the professional fee.
